It was so bad, but I knitted right through it. I am currently working on some new kits, patterns and classes.

As most of you know, Lindsay Harmon will be taking over the Yarn Garden in November. She will do a wonderful job and I know all of you will love her. I will be here for about 1 year to help out and teach classes. I am looking so forward to teaching. Please call the store and let me know what classes you would like me to teach. I am planning on crocheting (beginning and advanced), aran sweater, module sweater, gloves, teddy bear, and tomten (see picture). The tomten is a creature who resembles a little person that watches over our farm animals and us to be sure everyone is taken care of! It is a Scandanavian tale!

I have been working on a sweater from Elizabeth Zimmerman's Almanac book (yes, it's the same one Sarah Peasley has on her Blog!, I'm such a copy cat)

Here are a pair of wrist warmers that I just wrote a pattern for. They are made from Debbie Bliss cashmerino Aran and FFF Over. Aren't they cute! They are so soft and I can't wait to try them out this winter!

Hope your summer is going as well as mine and hope to see you real soon.

Remember, Tuesday Night Knitting begins the first Tuesday after Labor Day! Also, if you would like to join us on Wednesday Mornings at the Evelyn Bay Coffee Company from 9am to Noon, we'd love to have you!
